Every couple is unique. At the same time there are patterns that all of us inherit from our families. We all have choices: repeat that pattern in the family we choose to build or create new one. That is the fight that the characters of About Them embraces. Both are gown up adults who has not been able to move away from their past, but they are trying so hard to build their own pattern, but the past keep reaches them.

Trilogía Muda

A current of thought unites the three episodes in a coherent way, embodied with few elements, and that makes of space, time, and movement, purely cinematographic modes of expression. Voice is not needed. Yes there are sounds, music, but not human voices, as in primitive cinema. There are faces, slow or fast movements, despair, fatality, a barely glimpsed horror, desire and fear of freedom. There is also love, perhaps as an illusion, rather than as a reality.

Rapto

The story of a young orphan, law student whose close relatives limits to just his grandfather and one of his teachers.

Don't Tell Anyone

Based on the alleged autobiography of gay peruvian talk show host Jaime Bailey. Joaquin, a young man from the high class of Lima, deals with problems concerning his sexual identity as a child, then as a teenager pressured by his macho snobbish father, then as an independent lazy pot-smoking college student, and later as a cocaine addict in Lima and Miami.

Larco Ave.: The Movie

Based on a theater musical, this movie is set in the city of Lima, Peru during the end of the 80's. The plot is about a group of youngsters from Lima who are participating in a contest for the best new Peruvian rock band. All these while they have to deal with the worst economic situation in Peru, corrupt leaders and terrorism that is rampant throughout the country. Features very popular Peruvian rock songs from the 80's and 90's.

It is the legend of several stories. A journalist who hates a guy who's on TV, you have to interview him, then ends up making love to this again and again, in the end both are separated from love.
