In a wealthy Montreal suburb, Xavier and his friends are composing with pre-teen boredom. They hang out at the park, ride their bikes, mess with each other; it's yet another suburban summer afternoon. But beneath the smiles lies a growing tension, an certain violence which leads the group to a collective release of unexpected intensity; a ritualistic initiation into adolescence.

At the Palacio, an all-inclusive resort in the carribean, Mike's arrival complicates the normal flow of operations. His voracious appetite, mysterious magnetism and unexpected miracles bring him the curious, among which he makes three friends and meeets a few admirers, a jealous salsa teacher and an enamored octopus. All of whom will accompany him in a gargantuan downward spiral mixing civil unrest and intestinal meltdown; a change of administration held up by the most attentive staff in the world.

Hyo-Jin attends the funeral of her younger sister in South Korea, her homeland. Denying the pain caused by her loss, she decides to shorten her stay in Korea and swiftly returns home to Montreal. But her sister’s death disturbs her daily life, triggering irrational thoughts despite her scientific and pragmatic spirit.

Its another quiet summer day in Park Dufresne. The neighborhood youth loiter around the park until a new park monitor appears for his first day of work. Two universes clash and a territorial struggle begins.

Conquering himself, his adventure is like a road trip, from Hochelag' to Berri, from one family to another. Under the impetus of a hasty adolescence, his freedom thumbs his nose at the indifference towards the marginalized. Social etiquettes burst forth in an assertive tone and sustained rhythm. Between punk music and Marjo, The Hurricane hits us in the face, without waiting to die!
