In a small traditional Georgian village, Etero, the owner of a housekeeping shop, is a forty-eight-year-old spinster. She cherishes her freedom, as much as her cakes, and is preparing for a peaceful and comfortable retirement away from gossip. But a fiery affair with her delivery man could derail all her plans.

In the working-class neighborhoods of Nice, a pillar of the local Georgian community is murdered. His son Tristan, who aspires to become an orthodox priest, finds himself finds himself alone with his grieving mother. Gabriel, his older brother with a troubled past, reappears from a long exile to make amends by redeeming his family honor.

Nika is taking care of his paralysed abusive father, Sandro, in a run-down suburban family house near Tbilisi, soon to be sold. When Nastya, Nika’s girlfriend, arrives unannounced, Sandro unleashes his manipulative powers to the fullest.

Lifetime friends and neighbors from the same year in Old Tbilisi turn into enemies and confront their fellow neighbor's family when an investor shows up to buy their yard and houses.

The film is a collection of short stories that explore the most basic human instincts: eating and sex. Each story is based on a true story and offers a unique perspective on modern Georgian life. The stories capture the complexities of Georgian families and couples in love with a deep, yet warm, humour that is both uncompromising and relatable.
