Nanu Baharudin

The films story takes place over the course of one day. Bapak senses that he does not have much time left and so he invites his offspring to have dinner with him the next evening. He want to discuss some family matters concerning their inheritance, a large part of which is his home, a large sprawling house set in an acre of prime real estate located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur. An unexpected visit by two strangers leads Bapak to change his plans and bring the dinner forward to that evening instead.

In five interwoven stories, couples and families living in Kuala Lumpur navigate the complexities of love in all its forms.

HAQ is the action-packed story of two brothers gifted with special powers, one good and the other evil, who must either overcome or succumb to their own demons when they finally confront each other. Haq, the more caring and responsible of the two, was born with a gift of special powers passed down through his lineage. It is a gift nurtured and treasured by his family, used only when required.

Mariam, a well-known dancer from Kampung Paku Laris is caught in a love triangle between the rich, powerful and handsome Marsani and the poor but kind-hearted Danial. When Mariam chooses to marry Danial, Marsani continues to obsessively pursue her. But when tragedy occurs and Mariam is found dead, while Danial's boat sinks at sea, strange things begin to occur. Fast forward 60 years later, and a young girl named Maria bears an eerily striking resemblance to the late Mariam.

Hisham is under a lot of stress due to heavy workload and dissapointment with his girlfriend, Azura. Faridah, an illegal immigrant who works as a shop assistant, witnesses a robbery and is wanted by the robbers. She hides in Hisham’s car and is brought back to his village without Hisham’s knowledge. They become close. Azura unexpectedly visits Hisham and feels jealous seeing Hisham and Faridah together. Then, Azura goes missing. Hisham panics and starts to search for her. He receives a note demanding an exchange for Faridah with Azura.

Haikal is a producer who faces the loss of his Caucian wife, Linda after she gave birth to their child. He travels to East Coast Malaysia in search of his identity of being a Malay. As he arrives there, he meets with a girl named Mustika who still upholds the tradition of Malay. Although she is engaged, Haikal finds himself strongly attracted to her and determined to make a cultural Malay stage theatre.

Tok Wan Rimau, the custodian of the spiritual tiger, is searching for a female heir to inherit her powers. Tina (Maya Karin) and Ari (Rusdi Ramli) are the relatives of Tok Wan. They are also best friends. Tok Wan`s spiritual tiger protects her family and their village from harm. Tina, who is in love with Ari, nurtures her secret dream of marrying him even though the villagers often ridicule the effeminate Ari as a sissy. Deeply traumatised by these insults, Ari continues to hide behind his close relationship with Tina. Despite parental objections, Tina seems destined to be the next in line as custodian of the mystical tiger. But Ari steps in, offering himself instead.

Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2 is the sequel to the movie of the same title in 2004. The story continues after the "pontianak" (banshee/vampire) has avenged her death by eliminating her murderer (Marsani) and his entire bloodline. The story also explains her possesion of her own daughter and the end of her revenge. The story also sees Meriam coming to terms with her death before releasing her daughter from possesion and dealing with the obsession of her killer's son (Zali). Although the movie is still classified in the horror genre, this sequel delves more into sad emotions compared to the rage inflicted in the first movie.

They weave the story of independence by transporting themselves back to the past. Ordinary Malaysians who fell in love, and found their love for the country override their personal emotions. The present characters find new meaning to ‘Merdeka’

Kazman is a dedicated husband who, despite his wife Sufiah's protests, decided to buy a bungalow for their family near a lake as a family getaway. Anxious in the new house, Sufiah feels as if someone is watching her. Her daughter Lisa, who would always go downstairs at night to play congkak with someone whom she could only see, compounds her uneasiness. Sufiah throws the congkak in the lake, but is awakened the next night by the sound of the congkak being played again and upon investigation, she sees an old lady playing it. When her daughter disappears, the oldest resident in that area, Pak Tua, comes to the family's rescue and helps in locating the missing family members.

Semerah Cinta Stilleto is a story about two people from different status, Letto and Stella. Stella grew up in a openminded family. However, She is doesn't like to live freely like her parent. Letto Similarly, a fishmonger and have parents who are always noisy. Letto and Stella had never met after in one incident that involving Letto and Stellas's mother's Stilleto shoes. Thus, these two beings first became friends, but their parents had different thoughts about their love.
