"GS Wonderland" is about the 1960's Group Sounds bands - A Japanese pop movement inspired by the Beatles and other mid-1960's Brit Pop. Three young men set out to start their own band "The Diamonds" when they are signed to a recording contract during their very first rehearsal. Things turn for the unexpected when their agent brings Mick (Chiaki Kuriyama) into the group as their keyboardist.

The twin girls Tajima Megumi and Ichijo Nozomi was separated at birth after their parents had divorced. Years later they meet each other. Both of them have a career within the entertainment industry. Megumi who lives in Matsue, Shimane sings in the band Shijimijiru, and Nozomi is a maiko, an apprentice geisha in Kyoto.

Born over a tofu shop in Osaka, twin sisters Reiko and Kyoko have very different characters. Reiko is diligent, and longs for a secure, middle class lifestyle. Kyoko is a free spirit, who seeks thrills and adventure.

Nana and Shota are a newlywed couple and Nana is 15 years older than Shota. Nana works as a designer and Shota works as a gym trainer. They both enjoy mystery. The newlywed couple then move to an apartment and they attend a resident’s meeting there. Nana and Shota become involved in murder cases that take place at the apartment. Residents get murdered one by one. Some residents have a motive, but those suspects have an alibi. Because of this, an arrest has yet to be made.

In the fading Poka Poka Jizo Street Shopping District, university student Nakano Sakura is dedicated to revitalizing her family’s bakery and the surrounding community following her grandmother's death. The once-lively area has gone quiet, but Sakura is determined to bring it back to life. Her breakthrough comes when TV personality Hamano Kenta visits for a filming segment. Thinking on her feet, Sakura snaps a photo with him and uses the design platform Canva to create an eye-catching poster boasting his "seal of approval." Her initiative sparks a chain reaction; inspired neighbors begin designing their own promotional materials, from posters to social media graphics. Through Sakura's creativity and modern tools, the shopkeepers unite to restore the energy and bustle of their beloved shopping street.
