'Smerdaki' is a small existential journey to the dark side, which is hidden under the bright sunshine.

A wild tale of mistaken identity set during the Nazi occupation of Greece and starring the great Thanasis Vengos. Thanasis is called upon, during the Occupation, to testify at the trial of a tavern owner accused of serving cat meat to his customers. He too is accused of perjury and imprisoned with some resistance fighters. The resistance fighters escape, but Thanasis remains in his cell. He is accused of being Ivan, the notorious ringleader of certain revolutionaries.

Zissos and Apostolos are two Greeks living in a city in the Ottoman East in the early 20th century. A load of pounds will throw them into wandering and adventure, and from there into their physical and mental impasse. The khan is the halfway point of the journey, in the middle of the adventure.

The universe is a unified and indivisible entity. There are nο independent parts. There is just the WHOLE, the ΟΝΕ. One of the laws that forms its framework is that of compensation. If some occurrence or some action οn some organizational level of the universe disrupts the order, then compensatory mechanisms are activated that re-establish the balance. The direction in which our civilization appears to be headed threatens to disrupt the balance in this corner of the universe. The Law is activated in the form of «Pressures» οn a group of scientists that endanger not only their minds but even their very lives…

A lone car thief, meets a mysterious and charming woman who would be the love of his life but will lure him into a dangerous adventure.

Centres on two brothers, Stelios and Yannis. The impulsive Stelios skips their small town, deserts from the army, and is thought dead, until Yannis, now a city cop, recognizes his name on the papers of an illegal immigrant seaman. He begins a search for his lost brother, a search that takes him across many borders: between past and present, between Greece and its neighbouring countries, between one identity and another.
