King Olaf of Haland is an albino who lives in a gloomy castle. Abraham Mogèn, an alchemist, wants to aid the king. But on his way to the castle he is murdered by the highwayman Wogram and his servant Onorg. Wogram disguises himself as the alchemist and wins the favor of the king.

Lovable Amsterdam street urchin, 11 year old Ciske is nevertheless much in need of love as the Dutch 1984 title suggests. He is a scamp with a heart of gold. He causes havoc in the classroom pouring ink over his teacher yet when a polio-crippled boy joins the class Ciske is one of the only children to befriend him and is bullied as a result. His mother works in a bar and Ciske helps out often late into the night - his father is at sea and his mother supplements her income with prostitution. Ciske is also a very angry young man and he smoulders with rage at life's injustices.

The film is about a successful artist Vincent, whose marriage to Linda falls apart due to his success. This is partly because Vincent starts a relationship with Evelien. Another important event is the fatal traffic accident involving his son Erik.

Herman van Veen ist der absolute Inbegriff des Liedermachers. Bezaubernde, nachdenkliche, traurige, wahre und fantasievolle Geschichten erzählt der 56-jährige Musiker, Sänger, Songschreiber und Schauspieler aus Utrecht. Herman van Veen ist aber auch Poet und Clown -- und das macht aus jedem seiner Konzerte etwas Besonderes und ebenso aus jedem seiner Alben. Denn Herman van Veen singt nicht nur seine Lieder, er lebt und atmet sie. Was ich dir singen wollte handelt in erster Linie von der Liebe. Fazit: Ein Herman van Veen wie immer -- ein sensibler Poet, voller Menschlichkeit und Mitgefühl, eingebettet in ebenso einfühlsame, zarte aber durchaus auch lebensprühende Musik.

A three independent parts sci-fi drama. In the first, entitled The Bomb, a story of a garage mechanic is told who finds an atomic bomb by accident. The second part, entitled The Last Judgment, deals with the consequences of a military convoy carrying biological weapons going mad. In the third part, entitled Experts Of Evil, there is an accident at a chemical plant when a,pressurized container with dioxin explodes resulting in leakage.

Because his father and mother, his brothers and sisters had been killed by a large expensive car, Alfred Jodocus Kwak lived with his stepfather Henk de Mol in a wooden house on the banks of the Snelle Vliet in the reeds of Groot Waterland. And if you sail past in a boat, you might hear Alfred Jodocus Kwak singing. "Splash, splash, nice and cool in the water, go home now, I'll be there in a drop." The musical fable of Alfred Jodocus Kwak (lyrics: Herman van Veen; music: Herman van Veen, Erik van der Wurff, Harry Sacksioni) was first performed by the Amsterdam Youth Theater in Carré on Sunday, August 29, 1976. Eleven years later, Herman van Veen sang and narrated the musical fable in various European cities, accompanied by the Groot Waterlands Symphony Orchestra conducted by Erik van der Wurff. The performance in the Elisabethzaal in Antwerp was recorded by Veronica television, directed by Geert Popma.
