Polish seaman returns home from Tahiti with a native lover and a fortune in sacred pearls, gets seduced by a married woman unaware she is part of a gang trying to get his riches.

Hela Urbankówna, a poor country girl, comes to the capital to look for work.

Staying at a fancy resort, Wladyslawa Majewska is mistaken as a male guest when she is dressed in a skiing outfit. The manager offers her, thinking she is a he, a job as a dancer to entertain the unescorted ladies who frequent the hotel. Wladyslawa goes along with the offer, and keeps the old ladies dancing but falls in love with the best-looking male guest in the process, who thinks she is a man.

A Polish crime film in which Hieronim Śpiewankiewicz (Bogusław Samborski), the chief cashier of a Warsaw bank, steals a large sum of money and runs away with his lover Ada (Betty Amann). He is unaware that the woman is in cahoots with a gang that plans to defraud him and take the loot.

Julek doesn't want to work, he prefers to sing on the street and marry his beloved. His family doesn't want to hear about it, to which Julek sings in the voice of Eugeniusz Bodo: "That's just how cold-hearted I am..."

Two neighbours with similar names, Paweł and Gaweł, meet a violinist girl Violetta who pretends to be a child. When Paweł learns she's not a child anymore, he falls in love with her. And vice versa.

Mania is the illegitimate child of a girl from the suburbs of Krakow and a lawyer. Bowing to the will of the family, he abandons the girl, leaving a large monetary "compensation". The girl dies, but before she dies she leaves a certain Mr. Majcherek a letter and a document, proving that Mania will be able to receive the money when she comes of age. The dishonest Majcherek (knowing the contents of the letter) must therefore wait 20 years to be able to apply for Mania's hand and thus come into possession of her property. Unaware of anything, Mania lives in the suburbs with Maciejowa (who took her in as a child) thinking that she is her daughter. When Majcherek begins to adore Mania it turns out that she already has two rivals - boys from the neighborhood. That's when the fourth one appears - handsome Zygmunt. Mania loses her head for Zygmunt. What she doesn't know is that he is in fact her real father's upbringing....

A landowner meets a cabaret dancer in Warsaw who unexpectedly accompanies him to his rural estate, shocking his household. When his son arrives with his fiancée, the dancer is hidden in the gamekeeper’s cottage, sparking suitors among the gamekeeper’s son and later the landowner’s own son.
