Pilot Stefan Janotta recalls the war and the years following, when he helped rebuilding Polish Airlines.

At the turn of the century, Lodz, Poland, was a quick-paced manufacturing center for textiles, replete with cutthroat industrialists and unsafe working conditions. Three young friends, a Pole, a Jew, and a German, pool their money together to build a factory.

Jacenty is nearing the end of his days. However, he wants to go on his own terms, bargaining until the very end.

(4) “Stary profesor” – Two men seek an old professor to fulfill a dying prisoner’s last wish; Roger impersonates a former pupil. (5) “Nauczycielka” – Neglected wife Zofia accepts film tests, only to find the director seeks an ordinary woman.

An old man escapes from a retirement home to impersonate a man who has died in his arms and told him he never went home to his new bride after the first World War.

The fate of a working-class family during the third Silesian Uprising.

Absurd gag comedy about a grotesque pursuit of a "snow man" allegedly imported to Poland. A box with a shipment from India, which was supposed to contain a yeti, turned out to be empty. The desperate professor tries to find it. He even gets into prison, from which, however, he escapes handcuffed with the thief. Meanwhile, the "snow man" begins to be considered the perpetrator of more and more crimes. Eventually, everything becomes clear. In the telegram notifying of the shipment, a word was twisted and hence the whole misunderstanding.
