Jean-Pierre Ferland, OC CQ (June 24, 1934 – April 27, 2024) was a Canadian singer and songwriter. Ferland began work with Radio-Canada in 1956 as an accountant, but his career there was short lived. Shortly after, he began taking guitar lessons with Stephen Fentock and began to fall in love with music, writing his first musical pieces. From an early age, Julie, a difficult child who has been forgiven everything since the death of her mother, falls in love with Paul.
