Two policemen must pretend to be a gay couple in order to investigate the murders of homosexuals in Hong Kong.

On a remote island off Hong Kong, its rich and happy inhabitants are celebrating an annual ritual by staging an operatic show. The island is not productive but its people are rich. No wonder police chief Yuan Kuei becomes suspicious. He thinks he is sitting on top of a narcotics ring. His two men are ordered to watch closely movement of the opera people. Little does the chief know that actually the islanders are living off the loot their ancestors made by raiding a government gold galleon some centuries ago. They buried much of the treasure and a dormant vampire under a pagoda......

The two Cheng sisters leave war-torn Shanghai for Hong Kong. They take on another guest along the way, and move in with their cousin in Hong Kong, now a close unit of four friends. Through highs and lows, they all learn to live with each other.

Two cops, code name penguin and polar bear, are ordered to assist a visiting policeman from Borneo (Lo Raimy). When their incompetence results in Raimy's death during a gun battle with drug traffickers, they are temporarily suspended. Penguin and Polar Bear decide to make amends by joining with Lo's wife to find the killers.

Surprised and delighted, he sends his trusted friend Charles to find him. It turns out that Shu is in Hong Kong and has a family, running a small shoe shop with his friend Chan King Chuen. Shu's wife, Au Ka-Lai, is dominant and career-driven, while Shu himself is a typical "henpecked husband" who willingly submits to his wife's control...
