This farce cocerns Sweden's King Gustav (Per Oscarsson who plays all the lead roles). The royal monarchs of three major European countries are patiently or not-so-patiently hovering on the sidelines while watching the future King Gustav closely. The series is based on the books by Norwegian author Alf Prøysen about the Teaspoon Lady, who lives a quiet life with her husband but occasionally and suddenly becomes as small as a teaspoon. In her miniature size, she can talk to animals and finds herself in various imaginative adventures where her wisdom and resourcefulness help her solve problems.
