The film does not describe, rather it observes, in a distant manner, the world of Martin, a seventeen year old who feels he doesn’t belong anywhere, not at home, school, nor with his friends or members of his rock band. In search of some happiness, Martin takes off to the coastal town of Mar de Plata, where his older brother lives. Unglamorous, yet enchantingly addictive and refreshingly genuine, Acuña paints a confused and uncomfortable world, and makes us want revisit it over and over again.

Julián Lemar, a best-selling suspense writer, goes on vacation with his family to a cabin in the woods. During a strong storm, the power goes out and a woman shows up desperately asking for help: her husband killed her son and now he wants to kill her. From that moment on, danger and deception are a constant threat and for Julián a hellish night begins until he discovers the truth.

Carmelo, who is 30-years old and extremely shy, finds it difficult to reveal his innermost feelings to Verónica, his co-worker. Carmelo's world collapses when he finds out that she intends to get married soon. Accidentally, she spots him demonstrating in a gay rally where he becomes a leader of that cause. An architecture student is obsessed by his girlfriend. When she is invited to go alone to a party sponsored by her company, he becomes paranoid. He arrives at their place unexpectedly and finds a man hidden under their bed. He follows the man trying to find his name and occupation, along a night full of incidents and misunderstandings.

Disinterested and disoriented characters in a world that is real, where the absurd is consistent and daily violence, try to relate to each other, reacting only by inertia to situations that do not concern them.

Claudio inherits a bar from a gay uncle who died, whose family had alienated him. Claudio begins to work on it and meets Horacio, a young poet who falls in love with him. They set up a cultural center in the bar, until one night in the crisis of the 90's some criminals rob them and kill Horacio. Not having a bond justified by law, Claudio cannot save Horacio. Years later Claudio hires Adrián as a waiter at the bar. And a new love story begins again in times of the same-sex marriage law.
