The rivalry between a professional doctor and a midwife in a small Greek village. A retired doctor decides to settle down with his family in his wife's village and opens a medical practice. However, he gradually comes into conflict with the village midwife and her unorthodox medical practices, namely eye-opening and amulets. The midwife's son, a medical student in Athens, comes to the village for vacation, falls in love with the doctor's daughter, who tries to reduce her influence over the villagers.

A young man with ideals, equipped with a high-school diploma, dreams of a quiet and honest life. Lefteris agrees to take part in order to solve his money problems and live happily with his girl. Things, however, do not develop smoothly. The hero, at the last moment, manages to escape and avoid arrest by the policemen, thanks to the help of a girl who works in a cabaret in Piraeus and is in love with him.

When Thanassis leaves the orphanage tries to do various jobs but with no consolidates. A private detective manages to find his father who is rich. Thanasis will move into his luxurious house but there will come other problems.

The amateur singer, Magdalo, plucks up the courage to leave her small village in search of a well-paying job and has a chance encounter with the idealist classical musician, Fodas. Bent on taking back the familial plots from a money-grubbing loan-shark, Magdalo lands a job as a resident singer at a trendy nightclub, whereas, Fodas is having a hard time keeping himself afloat. Once more, after Magdalo's rapid rise to stardom, the two artists cross paths; however, they are too proud to admit their deeper feelings for each other. Will those two polar opposites bury the hatchet for love's sake?
