Do Bhai (English: The Two Brothers) is a 1947 Indian Bollywood film directed by Munshi Dil. Its starred Ulhas, Kamini Kaushal, Dipak Mukherjee, Tiwari, Rajan Haksar and Paro Devi in lead roles. It was the second highest grossing Indian film of 1947. Raj Karan, Nirmala's father and Forest Officer of the State had brought up Jai from childhood like his son. With the comming of youth the playful comradeship between Nirmala an Jai had naturally changed into deep love. Sarala and Shiva Karan, Nirmala's mother an brother, however hated Jai and they succeeded on day in ousting him from their home. Jai comes accross to know he has a stepmother and stepbrother. Raj Kumar is a wealthy businessman and dislikes everything ugly. When his wife, Kamla, becomes pregnant and gives birth to an ugly son, he asks the attending Dr. Mathur to inform his wife that their child was still-born. Dr. Mathur places the child in the hands of Rahmat and his wife, Naseeban, who welcome him with open arms. But misfortune follows them, as the child, who is named Pyare, accidentally burns their dwelling down, killing Naseeban. Rahmat then re-locates to his village when he teaches Pyare the skills required to play musical instruments and sing. Years later, Rahmat passes away, and informs Pyare that he is really a Hindu. Delhi-based Kamla lives a wealthy lifestyle along with her widower dad, Dindayal, and is a popular stage singer and dancer. Janki's marriage takes place and she re-locates to Agra.

Singh treats her badly and she sues him but in the end the two realise that they love each other.

Shikari is a Bollywood film released in 1946, directed by Savak B. Vacha, starring Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Paro Devi and Veera. The music was directed by Anil Chandra Sengupta, with Sachin Dev Burman as the background singer.
