The families of 18 soldiers who heroically died in 1944 are meeting at the place of the squad last battle.

The student rowing team of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) was defeated in the competition. The coach drops the team and leaves, taking the best rowers with him. The film is dedicated to Dzerzhinsky's closest associate, the revolutionary Yakov Peters. The film tells about the events related to the uprising of the Socialist Revolutionaries in Moscow in 1918 and the activities of Boris Savinkov's underground.

The tank corps of General Shubnikov in the spring of 1945 was already on the outskirts of Berlin. The stray rear did not ensure the regularity of the fuel supply. Colonel Lebedenko was commissioned to organize a base of fuel and lubricants in Himmelsfort, where a small group of Soviet soldiers had to enter into an unequal battle with the remnants of an enemy tank regiment, trying to break through the city.

Realizing his mistake, Grigory realized that only with blood he could atone for his guilt - and reached the front line, no longer afraid of death. Soon Tamara received a notification of his death. After the war, she remarried and was happy, like many in the post-war years. And only the unexpected return of Gregory for a while made her doubt the legitimacy of this happiness.

During the dangerous last days of WWII, a Red Army soldier tries to set up an occupation government on the outskirts of Berlin, which has not yet surrendered.
