An adaptation of a well-known novel by Hungarian writer Lajos Zilahy.

1938 at the battlefront along the river Ebro, Spain. It is the Spanish Civil War, and this movie depicts the attack of a group of commandos whose job it is to blow up the bridge spanning the river.

This Spanish-Italian co-production tells the story of a man who feels deep guilt for the death of his wife: he, an alcoholic, is convinced that he accidentally caused her fatal fall in their house while he was drunk. He finds a new wife, but he is unable to cope with his first wife's death. Furthermore, the maid and his sister do not accept the new woman in the household. After a while, bodies begin turn up ... and the grave of the man's first wife is empty!

In the Canary Islands there is a love story between a young and attractive woman, dissatisfied in her marriage to a man older than her, and a handsome sculptor of her age who lives in a bohemian way.

Jose Antonio Amor co-stars with Sonia Bruno and Maria Blanco in this comedy drama about a married man with three children. When his family leaves on vacation, the man has an affair with a pretty office worker. The relationship between the two develops slowly before they end up in bed together. Speeded up shots are used effectively to illustrate the thoughts of the characters. Technical aspects and performances are fine and overshadow some uneven editing.
