Frustrated and unemployed after being sexually harassed repeatedly, Stella decides to play the role of a guy, using the identity of her twin brother (who is living in Australia) hoping to get a job. She immediately wins the trust of her new employers and soon gets promoted to manager. The troubles begin when she falls in love with her boss' son.

Lukas and Sotiris hate the work but are forced to make ends meet working as salesman of books. In one visit, Luke would accept a proposal from the hostess, Fofi to represent her husband in the eyes of Julia's aunt, as long as you remain in Greece.

The amateur singer, Magdalo, plucks up the courage to leave her small village in search of a well-paying job and has a chance encounter with the idealist classical musician, Fodas. Bent on taking back the familial plots from a money-grubbing loan-shark, Magdalo lands a job as a resident singer at a trendy nightclub, whereas, Fodas is having a hard time keeping himself afloat. Once more, after Magdalo's rapid rise to stardom, the two artists cross paths; however, they are too proud to admit their deeper feelings for each other. Will those two polar opposites bury the hatchet for love's sake?

A nephew of three strange uncles loves a girl, but his uncles are against the marriage. A resourceful aunt takes the case and helps the couple.

"Arpa-colla" in Greek literally means "Grab and stick", a phrase used to show something that has been done quickly and therefore isn't good enough. This is what the 2 main heroes of the film are doing. The one is a director(Giorgos) and the other an author(Kostas) with communistic ideas, who has won a prize at a festival. They both want to make a movie for the cinema. But every idea they have never comes true, because every time they meet someone to whom they tell their idea, they change their mind, and they want to make a totally different movie, ideas varying from political cinema to Greek historical dramas and modern films with motorcycle gangs. Not a bad attempt for the Greek cinema of the early 80's, which starts to wake up from the hibernation of the 70's.

An industrialist has decided to marry his daughter with his partner and, for that reason, will try to help him in whatever way he can.
