Gabrielle, a dedicated surgeon and head of a hospital department, is stretched thin by the weight of responsibility. There is little time left for her private life: a loving husband and a mother who depends on her care. Yet this is the life she wanted, the life she chose. When a novelist comes to observe her at work for a book, her balance begins to shift.

Two literary testimonies serve to counterpoint her touching words: "Pozzi d'amore (Wells of Love)", a theatrical monologue by Enzo Moscato, the portrait in which fragments the rhythm of the film, and "In alto a sinistra (Top left)", the transposition of a tale by Erri De Luca, in which the themes of pain, memory and absence emerge from the story of a father-son relationship.

PIIGS is a documentary that challenges prevalent European budgetary policies and the austerity dogma. It does so by bringing in lesser-known facts and evidence that have the effect of ridiculing prevalent European monetary policies and dominant political certainties.

Trees that walk is a documentary based on an idea of the Italian writer Erri De Luca and it was filmed in Trentino and Puglia, Italy. This documentary wants to recount the life of the trees and their deep relationship with people that every day work hard to give to the wood a second life. What happens in this second life of the wood, when it becomes boats for sailing and musical instruments for playing... The trees is the opposite of movement: it dies where it's born. But there exists a second life that starts as soon as its saps stop flowing inside its vessels: forests became fleets that explored the world's geography while writing the Romance of the Earth.
