There is a Japanese style inn located in an out-of-the-way area near Mount Fuji. No one knows if it's in business or not, but the inn is owned by two people: the expressionless host, and his bewitching daughter. The host lures six patrons to stay at his inn for one night. All the guests feel the inn has an odd feel to it, but none of them pays attention to it in particular. In reality, the host and his daughter have a hidden agenda. They are hunting in order to feed the host's son: a huge living zombie hidden away in a locked room, whom these cruel hunters dote on as if he were still part of the family. A twisted tale illustrating conflicts of consciousness, cold-blooded insanity, and the depths one will sink to for the love of one's family is about to begin...

A man hunts girls who got lost in the jungle. When the news broke about one of the dead brutally murdered, a group of special forces is assigned to rescue whoever is still alive. Upon arriving at his hideout, they successfully rescue one. However little did they know that they are not dealing with an ordinary hunter. They too become a target and soon running for their lives is the only option.

Utaban was a long-running Japanese music variety show, broadcast weekly from October 15, 1996 until March 23, 2010 on TBS. The name of the show is an abbreviation of "uta bangumi", meaning "music program". A special version of the show, running for two hours, was occasionally aired under the name Tokuban, an abbreviation of "tokubetsu bangumi", meaning "special program". The show's theme song, played during the opening sequence and closing credits, was "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" by Nancy Sinatra.
