The Turks kill his servants and kidnap his beloved Andja. When he discovers what has happened, Strahinja gathers a together a group of scoundrels and chases the bandits.

The story follows Shurda, a man in his 30s, who comes from a small town to Belgrade to get rich. However, as no job is good enough for him, he tries his luck in Germany, but this venture proves to be the same, so he returns to his native Yugoslavia.

Ranjeni orao was a Serbian television show produced in 2008 and aired on RTS1 during late 2008 and early 2009. The 17 episode series is based on the 1936 novel "Ranjeni orao" by Serbian author Mir Jam.
