Red carpet, spotlights, screaming fans, photo- graphers chasing for the best photo, camera teams waiting for interviews - a premiere is about to take place and everyone’s eagerly awaiting to see Germany‘s biggest film star, Marvin Bosch. But Marvin’s nowhere to be seen after his interview with the bitchy tabloid journalist Bettina Bamberger ended in disaster. On the run from the media, the star lands in a small, independent feminist LGBT+ theater called “3000” of all places, which is on the verge of going out of business.

Yascha Krüger is a shy forestry official who struggles with dating and tends to scare people off. While temporarily working in a forest district, he meets Mats, a photographer, and the two develop a romantic connection. At the same time, Yascha is assigned a professional task: to persuade the heirs of a recently deceased landowner to sell a private forest so it can be turned into a national park. For a prize money every German citizen may chase and eventually kill the refugees entirely unpunished.

Lawyer Sienna can hardly believe her luck when her long-time partner and dream man Oscar proposes to her. Nevertheless, Sienna hesitates briefly because, unbeknownst to Oscar, Sienna is already married to her childhood sweetheart Tyler. Years ago, she left him head over heels after Tyler cheated on her. But on paper, they are still wife and husband. So Sienna travels to Cornwall to persuade Tyler to sign the divorce papers. But he wants something in return from his former partner. He is currently fighting for custody of his daughter Ivy, who was born out of the affair. Ivy's mother Naomi has since died. Sienna is supposed to pretend that she and Tyler have a happy marriage so that Ivy doesn't have to move in with her grandmother in the USA.

Marketing student Emma Clark is looking forward to her semester break with her boyfriend Robert, which is to begin with a visit to her mother Maggie on the family's beautiful farm.
