When a fugitive takes refuge in a small town, it ignites the passion of a group of filmmakers who want to discover his real story and his past. In the process of wanting to bring Mark’s story to the screen, they reveal more of him and each one of the protagonists than they were supposed to. This is a story of a criminal and of those that want to expose the effects of justice, love, and solidarity in the transformation of a human being.

Celina's Son is an intimate portrait of one of Puerto Rico's most celebrated singers of all time. Despite his popularity, both in Puerto Rico as well as in Latin America, he remains a simple, sincere and lovable person. This 25-minute film explores the life of Andy Montañez through the eyes of his mother Doña Celina. She describes his rise to fame from a mother's perspective, making clear the pride she feels for the oldest of her 18 children. Combined with Doña Celina's narrative, are comments from Danny Rivera, a popular Puerto Rican singer, Nick Quijano, a San Juan graphic artist and Cuco Peña, a renowned music composer. These interviews, intercut with colorful footage of Andy, paint a picture of a grass roots performer, whose humble beginnings helped shape the great artist known as Andy Montañez.

Reflecting the closeness of Puerto Ricans in New York with those on the island, three stories among couples are combined to cast emotions of passion, jealousy, doubt and infidelity. The couples are burned by sudden and unexpected feelings and are pushed to make the decision that will change their lives forever influenced by the events of September 11th.

A festive, tropical Christmas in Puerto Rico is what Jennifer and Papotico are most looking forward to. Both young people are filled with musical talent, with dreams and hopes for the future. But their innocence, zeal for life, and special friendship are overshadowed by the social and economic issues of Puerto Rico.
