Mayalokam is a 1945 Telugu-language film produced and directed by Gudavalli Ramabrahmam under the Sarathi Films banner. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and S. Varalakshmi.

Zamindar Bhujangarao (Gummadi) has two sons. The elder son Raghunath Rao (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) born to his first wife is a retard. After her death, he married Rajeswari (Santha Kumari) and the couple has a son Nagendra Rao / Naagu (Jaggaiah) a man of vices. Impressed by the way Padma (Savitri) a village girl faced Naagu when he threatened to take their farm lands, the Zamindar fixes Naagu’s marriage with her. But Rajeswari vetoes the alliance and suggests to perform her marriage with Raghu. After marriage, Padma learns that Raghu became a retard due to the opium-fed during his childhood to put him to sleep by the maid, Ayamma (Vijayalakshmi).

Manase Mandiram (English: The Heart is a Temple) is a 1966 Telugu language romantic drama film, produced by Yarra Appa Rao on Sri Krishna Sai Films banner and directed by C. V. Sridhar. Starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Savitri in the lead roles and music composed by M. S. Viswanathan. The film was a remake of Tamil film Nenjil Or Aalayam (1962), Sridhar remade the film in Hindi as Dil Ek Mandir (1963). It was also remade in Malayalam as Hridayam Oru Kshethram (1976), and in Kannada as Kumkuma Rakshe (1977).

Chandru (Sivaji Ganesan) has a sister (Rajam) who is married to a handsome Ravi (Balaji). But her in-laws insist on a diamond necklace, without which she cannot join her husband. Sri Venkateswara Mahatyam (Telugu: శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర మహత్యం) is a 1960 Magnum opus Telugu mythological film produced and directed by P. Pullaiah and starring N. T. Rama Rao. The story is based on the story of Lord Venkateswara (Balaji).

An honest police constable has a son (R. Muthuraman) and a daughter (C. R. Vijayakumari). Balaji, son of a rich affluent person is a friend of Muthuraman who often visit his house. Balaji initially discards this proposal but accepts after coming to know that he will be deprived of his father's wealth if he doesn't marry the girl arranged by his father. Vijaykumari is shocked to hear this and finally tells her relationship with Balaji to her parents.
