Gangster boss Carlos orders the dodgy Viennese junkyard owner Harry to bring him a bag from Poland. Harry passes the order on to his "best man" Schorsch. Schorsch, not exactly the brightest, is currently without a driver's license and completely fixated on the 24-hour car race of Le Mans. So he gives the order to Mao and sends in their place the takeaway lessees Hans and Max to Poland. Their journey leads to a seemingly endless drug trip full of extraordinary phenomena.

Szymon discovers a naked woman and takes her to his secluded house where, over the next few days, she tells contradictory stories about her life. But it turns out she is not the only person in the house with something to hide.

The forest man, Kondrat, tells the boys about a she-wolf with a young litter. They sneak into the lair. The she-wolf sets off in pursuit of her pups. Bierniuka falls into the swamp. He is rescued by Kondrat. He punishes him for taking all the wolf pups. Bierniuka names his wolfdog Dzikun. The poacher Mohila takes him away, and the wolf girl wishing to claim her pup is killed. Dzikun, however, manages to escape. After some time he eats the poisoned meat scattered by Mohila. Bierniuce and Kondrat manage to rescue Dzikun. Mohila and his companion make an ambush for the wolves, but they attack. Thin ice on the pond breaks under the companion, a young wolfdog is thrown at Mohila. Bierniuka recognizes Dzikun in him.

The film depicts the momentous and tragic history of the Poznan uprising of 1956. The memory of the director, who was a nine-year-old boy at the time, is the only canvass of the script. The main characters of the black-and-white film are two boys aged ten and twelve. From their perspective, the viewer follows the development of events. From the depths of the gates, through the rails of fences and cluttered backyards, through the eyes of the children we watch the street riots. The film, without action in the literal sense of the word, was made using a reportage technique that perfectly captures the spontaneity of the Poznan uprising. Among other things, the author of the picture depicts the adventures of a young worker Zenek, who becomes the unwitting leader of the protest, and five professors, who by chance find themselves in the very center of events.

Pograbek is a village philosopher with an unconventional way of looking at things. He is planning on buying a child since he cannot have one due to his infertility. However, the woman that promised him one has changed her mind, and now the provincial gigolo is trying to make his wife pregnant.

A zany and ribald farce about a machismo-fueled, philandering president, who strongly detests homosexuals and any other threats to his masculinity. His wife spends her days in utter misery, bemoaning her rapidly advancing age and counting her husband's lovers. One of the passengers on a ship carrying Poles on a cruise in December 1981 is a dissident high school teacher sent abroad by Solidarity. He is under surveillance of the secret police, anxious to get their hands on the info that he is carrying. When the ship is in the middle of the Baltic sea, martial law is declared and the ship is militarized. The captain announces he will turn and return the home port. Many anguished passengers put the life vests on and jump into the sea, where they are picked up by two German ships. The teacher, however, decides to return to Poland and continue the struggle for freedom.

Not far from the castle, a village of clever craftsmen flourishes, and Polish-Lithuanian partisans prowl the woods. The search for the ancient treasure of the Prussians coincides with an unexpected visit of the Grand Master along with an even less expected guest.

With the money he earns, he rents a luxury apartment and changes his lifestyle. From then on, he decides to provide services to people who want to end their lives but are unable to do it themselves...

When the hot-dog vendor Kaj from the small town of Skælskør in Denmark turns 40, his friends take him on a trip to Poland, to a long party with cheap liquor and emigration eager polish ladies. It will go merrily, but it gets serious for Kaj as he meets a girl who mistakes him for a wealthy Toyota dealer she has exchanged letters with.
