A small town band makes it big, but loses track of their roots, as they get caught up into the big-time machinations of the music biz. Now, they must thwart a plot to destroy their home town. Built around the music of The Beatles, this musical uses some big name groups like Peter Frampton and Aerosmith.

This documentary highlights the reunion of Bruce Springsteen with his E Street Band as they join forces to record several new tracks for Springsteen's GREATEST HITS album. Featured songs include longtime bootleg favorite "This Hard Land" and the brand-new songs "Secret Garden" and "Blood Brothers," as well as other previously unreleased tracks. The show aired originally on the Disney Channel. The documentary provides a thrilling behind-the-scenes look at Springsteen's creative process, which is famous for its attention to detail. Springsteen also constantly flips around music and lyrics among different songs until he nails it perfectly. The closeness of the band is evident at the outset in its ability to gel with Springsteen right off the bat even though they hadn't played together regularly since the late 1980s.

The documentary provides an unprecedented glimpse into Young and Crazy Horse’s creative process, as they took to tape in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains during the Covid-19 pandemic. Kicking off with a note of gratitude from Young (“I’m so glad we’re fuckin’ here!”), the trailer shows what things were like as the legendary band got back into their element, in the wild, making music in a restored, 19th-century log barn under a full, glowing moon. The film captures the group—a 50-year-old musical family that includes, Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Nils Lofgren —building the powerful new record, but also their easy humour and enduring brotherhood. - The Sound Cafe (www.thesoundcafe.com)
