A young mother is plagued by a tragic mistake and alienates her little boy. A brilliant writer is released from prison after serving a 15-year sentence and begins working at Vic's Diner. Their stories converge when the man must overcome obstacles of the past to save the little boy and ultimately himself.

A woman embarks on an unyielding and possibly hopeless search for her missing husband, a journey that strains her already fragile relationship with her daughter. Along the way, she also faces the unwelcome advances of her persistent brother-in-law.

"Pregnant" is a window into a woman's existence as she lives her internal life ever so delicately as her external life. Becoming a mother for the second time, she prepares for the unknown.

An old, bedridden man plays games that have a hint of the sinister about them.
