The film takes place in a present-day small Hungarian village in the middle of nowhere. Strangers hardly ever come to this place, everything outside of it seems to be in another world for the inhabitants. But one day everything changes, when a stranger from Budapest enters the pub. He is on his way to a vacation in Portugal and wants to spend some days in this village. He soon starts a love affair with the pub owner's daughter. The ex-policeman of the village doesn't like this at all...

One day he meets Andrej, the Ukrainian ballet dancer who wants to get to Paris through Hungary and make a career, but currently he works as an unskilled worker at a fuel station. Tamás, the successful architect is compelled to do his work from home, so he has much more time to pay a lot more attention to himself and also to his surroundings. A couple is moving in next door. Being shut into his own home, listening to the conversations of the new neighbors he's slowly starting to realize the uncertainty of his own marriage. This would not be a problem if he did not happen to be an enthusiastic swimming coach and ex-Olympic champion, who is racing with his younger self night after night; still not able to make peace with himself.

NOSEDIVE depicts a world of unlimited drugs, wild parties, beautiful people, and no sleep. However, when reality takes a dark turn, a group of characters are forced to step out of the nightclub and into darkness.
