Irina, who has had a difficult childhood, as she has seen her own mother die, meets Leonel who, likewise, suffered from a very controlling and violent father. They both fall in love and decide to live together. Her passion finds an end when Leonel starts cheating on her with other women. Thanks to a private detective, Irina discovers it, and panics when she finds out that these lovers have been dying one after another.

"Cilantro y perejil" is a comedy about couples from the same family, hit by the economic crisis in Mexico. The plot turns around the eternal question of whether it is worth it to live as a couple. The conclusions are fun, unpredictable and very human. After ending a ten-year marriage, Carlos and Susana try to fall in love with other people without success. As the days go by, Carlos realizes that without Susana he is unable to do many things, including distinguishing cilantro from parsley.

Justina is a fifteen years old girl who lives with her mother and stepfather in Mexico City. In her sexual-awakening, she starts flirting with the only man in her life, her stepfather, causing the accidental murder of her mother and stepfather. Shocked, she runs away from home, crazy, just dressed with her nightgown. Ivan, a police detective who practices torture as daily routine and is reduced to the rank of street cop, looks for her all night long.

It is a light and amusing story about Nemesio, a small time drug dealer who has never managed to get away from his mother or his childhood traumas, and carries on his back the stigma of a born loser. This he struggles to overcome, but finds it impossible. By intent or otherwise, Nesio becomes involved in a homicide and an impossible love with a masked woman wrestler. All of this framed by downtown Mexico City.
