A libidinous construction worker uses his charm and bravado in an attempt to attain enough finances to build his dream project.

After forty years, Julián returns to the bar he used to go to with his girlfriend Carmen when he was doing his military service in the city. His intention is to heal an old wound, but he discovers something that will change his life.

1939: The remains of the Spanish Republican Army crossed the French border. Among the exiles are Lluís Companys, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and also Aguirre, President of the Basque Government. After the invasion of France by Nazi troops, Companys will be arrested by the Gestapo and handed over to the Francoist authorities. Led by the Count of Mayalde, he is transferred to Madrid and later to Barcelona. After a summary trial, Companys is condemned to death and shot.

In a small Catalan village take advantage of the visit of an ecclesiastical authority of Rome, during vacations, to organize a conference on the topic of religion and sex. This causes the people to divide into two camps, those who favor and those against the "Congress", until finally after a series of negotiations between both sides, we arrive at consensus. A large mosaic of characters carry the story to end happily, through critical situations with the conservative church.

A veteran policeman named Fernando feels a lot of hatred against Ángel because the boy ran him over with a car leaving him lame. Adapted from the novel by Juan Marse, the film shows two distant worlds in the Spain of the 50's, the suburban and the bourgeois, which are related through two characters, Manolo Reyes, vulgar motorcycle thief who aspires to escape poverty and Teresa Serrat, university student of bourgeois extraction seduced by the revolutionary cause.

She falls in love, she is exploited, she gets involved in transvestite gang wars, and meanwhile just dreams of earning enough money for her little beauty salon back home.

Pelotas is a Spanish tragicomedy television series created by José Corbacho and Juan Cruz, set in Hospitalet de Llobregat, a suburb of Barcelona. It was broadcast on La 1, the primary channel of Televisión Española, between 23 February 2009 and 7 June 2010. The series is based around the lives of local Unión Fútbol Club supporters.
