Daddy, filmed in cooperation with movie director Peter Whitehead, discovers the connection between a father and little girl. Like the majority of Niki De Saint Phalle’s films, the flick combines autobiography with imagination, mixing erotic scenes of incest with a reverse of energy as the female character humors the daddy figure. Saint Phalle narrates the film, offering an almost psycho-analytical explanation of its content and explains the different inexplicable.

A man crossing Maine at the end of a solo cross country bicycle trip strikes up an unlikely friendship with an ex-Marine and his oddball younger sister. At the same time he reconnects remotely with his estranged but dying father in Germany and finds himself forced to make an irrevocable decision.

After a painful divorce, fashion designer Christina Tolliver quits her job and moves to Dorset. Her new neighbor, the charming forest manager Stephen McDowell, helps Christina move in. Juliet jealously watches as the two grow closer. Stephen was briefly involved with Juliet, the wife of his critically ill employer, Jonathan Pierce. When he finds out about their affair, a momentous argument ensues.

ITV Playhouse is a British comedy-drama TV series that ran from 1967 to 1983, which featured contributions from playwrights such as Dennis Potter, Rhys Adrian and Alan Sharp. The series began in black and white, but was later shot in colour and was produced by various companies for the ITV network, a format that would inspire Dramarama. Actors appearing in the series included Leslie Anderson, Gwen Nelson, Ricky Alleyne, Pat Heywood, Michael Elphick, Ian Hendry, Edward Woodward, Margaret Lockwood, Jessie Matthews and Lloyd Peters.
