Adams) overhears the conversation and not only does he ruin the young man in the stock market, he also tosses Ann out of the house. The film ends bitterly for all concerned.

One day, one of his letters gets accidentally mailed and Julia receives it. When the letter says that he is a fraternity man and a big track star, Julia rushes right over to see him. But John is neither and Spike, Julia's boyfriend, is a track star at a nearby College. John does not want to enter the track meet so Julia tries to use psychology on him. That and a good wrestling hold makes John timidly agree to enter the race, but Spike still scares him.

Joe Grant is an inventor, fireman and baseball player in his small hometown. He gets an offer to play in a big team and hopes to get more money for his inventions. But Joe's invited to present his invention to a fire extinguisher company at the same time when he is supposed to play. Will he be able to show the effectiveness of his invention and win the game?

Discovering that the will dictates that Dr. Langdon, a friend of the family, is to receive $25,000, Cherry decides to impersonate Langdon's daughter Rose and thus gain possession of the money. In the meantime, The Stranger, who has been freed from jail, returns, recognizes Cherry as The Siren and kills her. This frees Burt from her evil spell, and The Stranger, now insane, follows The Siren's spirit into the desert.

Olive Granger, an heiress survives a shipwreck in the South Seas and is washed ashore an island along with international crooks Irene Carlton and Fred Morgan, who steal her credentials and escape to America, where Irene poses as Olive. Paul Patterson and Jan Boomer, divers, find Olive abandoned in a cave and fight through the jungle in competition for the girl. While diving for pearls, the treacherous Boomer dies in the clutching coils of a giant octopus. Olive and Paul arrive in New York, expose the impostors, and get married.
