This is a story about a security guard agency and its three agents-Michael, Sam and Ricky. Sam and Ricky are delivering a large sum of money to a bank when a robbery takes place under their nose. after a series of hair-raising about hilarious chases, the agents get their men. With Michael and Sam giving their reward money to Ricky. They live haphazardly ever after.

A cross-country road race is based on an actual event, the Cannonball Baker Sea to Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash, organized by Brock Yates to protest the 55 mph speed limit then in effect in the U.S. The Cannonball was named for Erwin G. "Cannonball" Baker, who in the roaring 20's rode his motorcycle across the country. Many of the characters are based on ruses developed by real Cannonball racers over the several years that the event was run.

No list of the screen's comic geniuses would be complete without Michael Hui Kwun-man. He created a hilarious and lovable comic persona that was both uniquely Asian but also universally beloved. This, his first film, not only showcased his incomparable sense of humor but revolutionized Hong Kong comedy. Evoking Chaplin, he plays a warlord in early 20th Century China, but makes the role his own with both laughs and some of the sexiest ladies on the Shaw Brothers lot.

Hui Wai Tak tells people's fortunes by feeling their bones. In reality though, he is a scam artist who gathers information on his clients in advance and uses it to milk them for money. The sitcom depicts a fictional street in Hong Kong and the inhabitants of two households in the same building. The "Chen Family" lives on the first floor, comprising the landlord, his wife, their eldest son & daughter-in-law, and their youngest son. The "Xu Family" are their tenants - the father, his daughter, and a pet bird. The show reflects various facets of life in the city, such as government allowances for seniors, subway gate regulations, stock trading, theft, beggars, gambling, and daily household chores. It portrays heartwarming moments that leave viewers with a smile.

The Hui Brothers Show is a Hong Kong sketch comedy television series produced by TVB and hosted by and starring brothers Michael Hui and Samuel Hui that ran for 52 episodes from 1971 to 1973.
