Back in 1982, a group of friends was celebrating the 10th anniversary of graduation. From their memory, through flashbacks, emerge the spirits of youth, the unrepentant sins of adults who instigated the anarchist rebellion of high school graduates and politics involved in their thoughts and plans.

The story of the film is set in the period from the 1940s until today in the Pannonian plain (the plain in the Central Europe), in an area of elusive boundaries, mysterious and unstable spiritual identity. The witness of the time is a Jewish boy Benya Cohn who, with his eye wide open, remembers the tragedy of his family, in the shadow of the Holocaust, concentration camps and new wars.

This film is a fascinating story about the life of Mileva Maric, a Serbian woman who was Albert Einstein’s first wife. It is an uplifting dramatic story about a woman who was a life companion during the most fruitful period of Einstein’s scientific work. Mileva intentionally carried to her grave one of the greatest secrets of modern science about her real contribution to the scientific work of Albert Einstein. Beside this eternal mystery, the film wishes to depict the love and dedication of Mileva to his husband’s fate, carrying herself a real Central European destiny of the first half of the XXth century.

The backbone of the "Državni Posao (Government Job)" are satirical talks between the three actors, the comments are reminiscent of the "stand-up" form. These are short, witty comments and observations on daily life, circumstances, sociopolitical situation, sports, entertainment world, their personal opinions on various topics. The main idea is to present day in a non-existent government company and three employees of thinking about daily events in it, but also about life and society in general. Topics drawn from the daily and weekly press, for various blogs, websites, talk about movies, series, shows - radio and television. The idea is that actors humorously comment on current events, to laugh viewers and encourage them to think about them.

Follow the master Hranislav who loves his service but also the bookmaker, his apprentice Mikica, their customers in a situation that is not so far from reality.

Anica Reljic, a former police inspector who now works in a call center, receives a call from Sonja Tosic, a rich single mother who wants to know the identity of the person who is threatening her on the phone. As Anica investigates the threatening calls, she realizes that they are connected to a criminal group from her past life. She tries to warn Sonja, but Sonja disappears, prompting Anica and Tiana, Sonja's rebellious daughter, to go in search of her. They soon discover that Sonja may be the key to uncovering the truth behind an environmental scandal rocking the country: the mysterious poisoning of three boys.
