Bára Basiková is an icon of Czech rock and other music genres. To what extent can her public, media-distorted image differ from the person she really is? The answer comes in the form of the latest long-term documentary study from Helena Třeštíková, whose empathy, coupled with admirable self-reflection and openness on the part of the protagonist, gives rise to a fascinating film portrait: over the course of fifty years we follow a woman who demonstrates remarkable strength as she faces the challenges of both her professional and private lives.​

The story begins in 1984 in Prague, Czechoslovakia, few years before the end of Communist era. The band Pražský výběr (Prague's selection) has just received the news thier 5-year ban has expired and they are alowed to perform once again. This half fantasy half document about the band would draw the atmosphere of middle european late Communist era and the eufory of it's end.

The full-length film which, though based on Mozart's opera Don Giovanni, is more about the complexity of the time and the world. We witness the creation of a modern production of Don Giovanni, reflecting the controversial present. Mozart's exciting music, uninhibited erotic, and the eternal struggle against evil which constitutes the energy of our existence.

The story, set mainly in the picturesque surroundings of a First Republic swimming pool, offers many surprises in the form of unexpected performances by acting and singing stars, who pay tribute to the lady of Czech swing.

A film based on the true story of a twenty year old girl who lives with her mother and her younger, parasitic partner in Bratislava’s Petržalka district. Her ideas about life are full of ideals, but reality is completely different. Out of boredom, and lacking positive motivation and family care, the young girl commits an irreversible act that ruins her life.

The main character of the story, which is a sensitive probe into the soul of a little girl, is five-year-old Kačka Znamínková, who lives with her parents in a picturesque village in the foothills. And because she has a very vivid imagination, she becomes not only a princess with a golden star on her forehead, but also a princess on a pea or a crocodile hunter. Together with her parents, she is expecting a new sibling to be born any day, but she will only be happy if it is a little sister. She doesn't even want to hear about a little brother. But in the end, instead of the expected little sister, she gets two brothers, so...
