Recorded at Auditório Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo , on 24 and 25 June 2006 , the album features the biggest hits singer-songwriter Lenine's career such as "Paciência" (Patience), "Jack Soul Brasileiro" (Since I am Brazilian), "Na Pressão" (On The Pressure), "A Rede" (The Net), "Hoje Eu Quero Sair Só" (I Want Go Out Alone, Today) and "A Medida da Paixão" (The Measure of Passion), plus new songs like "Tudo Por Acaso" (All By Chance). The album features special participations from musicians such as the Chilean Victor Astorga (the first English horn soloist with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra), Cameroonian bassist and singer Richard Bona, Mexican singer Julieta Venegas, harpist Cristina Braga, the rapper Gog, and drummer Iggor Cavalera (ex-member of Sepultura). Acoustic MTV is the fourth live album and the sixteenth of the career of Brazilian pop double Sandy and Junior. The brothers' last project as a duo was released in 2007, the year in which they announced their separation after 17 years as a musical duo.

Acústico MTV: Bandas Gaúchas was a project by MTV Brasil, which brought together the bands Bidê ou Balde, Cachorro Grande, Ultramen and the singer Wander Wildner (former leader of the Replicantes) in a single show, broadcast on TV and released on CD and DVD. in 2005. It was an innovative project, as it brought together 4 artists in a single acoustic and, for the first time, used a pre-defined theme: rock gaucho. The main idea of ​​the project (several bands of the same genre in a single project) was repeated in the MTV Ao Vivo 5 Bandas de Rock project, which brought together 5 pop rock and emocore bands in the same show.

Marina finally returned to prominence with the release of 2003's Acústico MTV (the Brazilian equivalent of the MTV Unplugged series), which spawned two top 10 hit singles (the new track "Sugar" and a reworked version of her 1984 hit "Fullgas") and became her best selling album in over a decade. The DVD (the first of her career) was also one of the year's best sellers.

This album features live tracks from Ira's 200 concert in Sao Paulo. This is the first live album released by Ira!, one of Brazil's most popular rock bands. The 20-track repertoire is generous in its extensiveness, and the band sounds inspired. The bulk of the material here is drawn from Ira!'s first two albums. From their debut, De Mudança, which is now considered a landmark within Brazilian rock, there is the punk song "Coraçao" along with others such as "Tolices" (here with a folk music arrangement), "Longe de Tudo," "Como Os Ponteiros de Um Relógio," and a very fine version of "Núcleo Base." MTV RPM 2002 is the last album and the only DVD by Brazilian rock and roll band RPM, released in 2002 and bringing back its classical formation. Recorded at Procópio Ferreira Theater (São Paulo, Brazil), in 26 and 27 March 2002, the album features greatest hits, like "Revoluções Por Minuto", "Alvorada Voraz", "Rádio Pirata", "Sete Mares" and "Louras Geladas", as well as unreleased songs: "Carbono 14", "Rainha", "Vem Pra Mim" (by Herbert Vianna) and "Onde está o meu amor?", recorded in studio and included on the Esperança's original soundtrack, from Rede Globo. The album features Roberto Frejat as a guest, at the song "Exagerado", by Cazuza. Another guest performer is Renato Russo, on the acoustic version of "A Cruz e a Espada".
