A French crew is working on location in Spain. But when they want to film a scene in which Gérardn the male star is supposed to be swimming across a river, the matinée idol proves water-shy and the director decides to double him. The one that replaces him is Antonio, a local fisherman. The latter does the job so well that he is chosen as a stunts man for the whole film. This does not please Lola,his fiancée; all the more as Antonio has fallen in love with Martine, the female star.

Clemen is very sad. After three years of marriage, Raul, her husband, is moving away from it and, what is worse, is getting dangerously close to other women. Desperate, she cries under the portrait of his late grandmother. And the miracle occurs. Granny leaves the frame and proposes to take its place Clemen. Clemen remains painted on the wall, while his grandmother set about reconquering Raul.

Carmona, the fashionable bullfighter, has an important contract to fight in America, but his wife Isabel wants him to reject the offer. Anamaría, Carmona's sister, hopes that her brother will approve her relationship with Rondeño II; but Carmona opposes because he considers him a bad bullfighter. In a fourth, hopeful and exciting plot, a young amateur bullfighter has a plan to sneak into the ring and fight a bull, hoping for public acclaim for his feat of bravery.

When a movie star arrives in the small kingdom of Montaña, the queen sees a chance to increase tourism by plotting an affair between her son and the actress.

A young policemen witnesses a bank robbery which will become his first case. To catch the thieves he will infiltrate himself as one of the gang members. At first it works, but it won't be so easy afterwards.

A wealthy widow named Doña Flora offers to pay for the weddings and provide money to twelve couples with limited means so they can enjoy their honeymoons. Two strangers, Julieta and Jaime, decide to get married solely to obtain the money, split it, and go their separate ways. Five years later, they cross paths again—she is a successful artist while he has failed as a scientist—just as the woman who sponsored the weddings decides to reunite the group.

Adapted from a comedy of the brothers Alvarez Quintero, raised in a spirit rather routine and a remarkable lack of imagination. The minor nature of the adapted work greatly limited their chances, but there was no resolution film the slightest hint of creativity, merely a recreation under the sign of awkwardness.
