Madhu, a wealthy and naive boy, meets Vasanthi and develops feelings for her. However, he gets depressed after knowing that Vasanthi only saw him as a brother.

They separate their father and mother and take care of them by rotation even though the old couple wants to live together. Ramu (Jaggayya) is an old student of Raghava Rao who becomes a police officer. He purchases Raghava Rao's house in the auction and gifts it to his beloved teacher.

Estranged siblings, Ramu and Lakshmi meet years later as she is married to a doctor and he is a driver in the same place. Ramu is blamed for stealing in the house. Will Lakshmi save her brother?

1979 Telugu Film

Alibaba 40 dongalu (1970) is a Telugu film based on Ali Baba, starring N T Rama Rao and Jayalalitha. The film is a remake of 1956 Tamil film Alibabavum 40 Thirudargalum which inturn is based on Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

Amar lives a poor lifestyle along with his widowed mom in a village, and has a sweetheart in Savitri. He is a trouble-maker and makes life difficult for the Panchayat Chair, Kalicharan, who also happens to be Savitri's father, so much so that Kalicharan hires Ram Shastri to kill Amar. After his passing, Amar enters Swarg Lok where he gets to meet with Devraj Indra and then Yamraj. Amar incites Yam Dhooths to go on a strike, as well as has Yamraj himself consider going on a vacation along with his assistant, Chitragupt Sharma. As a result, Yamraj and Chitragupt end up in modern day Bombay as ordinary human beings, and people stop dying, while Amar himself is given back his life. But not for long for soon he will be called upon to provide bail for a jailed Yamraj and Chitragupt, who will soon return to Swarg Lok and take him along too!!

He sends him straight to hell headed by Yama (Satyanarayana) and ably assisted by Chitragupta (Allu Ramalingaiah). In hell, he influences the soldiers of death, Yama's army using communist theories and rights of labor, and turns them against their leader-Yama, and Hell shuts down. Yama sends him back to Earth. Yama and Chitragupta visits Earth on a holiday trip and experiences the funny aspects of Humans. Satyam changes his name and teaches Rudrayya a lesson.

When Yugandhar, a ruthless don, gets killed in a police encounter, Jaganath, the police superintendent, trains his lookalike to pose as the don and help nab his gang. It is remake of Hindi film Don (1978).

Indrajeet (Sati Sulochana) is a 1961 Telugu-language Hindu Epic film, based on the life of Indrajit from the epic Ramayana. It tells the story of the life and death of Ravan's son, great warrior Meghanadhudu.
