A young Sahrawi woman faces deportation to Western Sahara, struggling to readjust to her homeland and confront family tensions sparked by her earlier departure.

Fatimetu returns to the Wilaya of Smara for the funeral of her mother, after 16 years living in Spain. There she meets her brother Jatri, who is expecting his first child with Aichetu his wife, and her sister Hayat. Jatri tells her that she has inherited the family Khaimah and must care for her sister. Fatimetu reluctantly accepts the last will of her mother, though she is not sure how to take care of her sister as she can barely take care of herself.

# Translation Amzar and Alina's first meeting is merely a result of misunderstanding. Alina, who doesn't want to be labelled a 'loser' for still being single at her thirties, quickly grabs Amzar's arm, who happens to be there, to introduce him as her fiancé to avoid becoming the target of ridicule from Zufa, her arch-enemy since their school days. Amzar's life becomes chaotic after this sudden engagement story breaks out. As if it was meant to be, after that incident they meet again at Alina's workplace and Amzar is introduced as her new boss. Amzar uses the opportunity to get revenge on Alina for hurting his feelings, resulting in Alina being fired under the pretext of reducing the company's financial burden. Alina's meeting with Zafril, Amzar's brother, takes the story of Amzar and Alina to another phase. From hatred to the opposite. Feelings of love begin to blossom but suddenly there is interference from Hairi, Alina's ex-boyfriend who once inflicted emotional wounds on her.

Forty years after its people were promised freedom by departing Spanish rulers, Western Sahara remains Africa's last colony. This film chronicles the everyday violence experienced by Sahrawis living under Moroccan occupation and voices the aspirations of a desert people for whom the era of colonialist never ended.
