In the middle of the night, a special police force storms the bedroom of management consultant Juliane Schubert. With the moral support of her ownerless dachshund, Frauchen, she uncovers a large-scale crime in which even the mayor of the town seems to be involved.

Anne finds out that Gregor is not only the mayor of Dresden, but also the favorite enemy of her daughter Jess, who is leading a citizens' initiative against the airport expansion. Pia and Sebastian want to get married and this wedding is to be recorded for posterity by Sebastian's best friend Daniel. However, Daniel takes his job a bit too seriously.
