The Travelling Players

A traveling theatre troupe tours the Greek countryside from 1939 to the early 1950s, staging “Golfo the Shepherdess”. As the years pass, its members endure persecution, betrayal, executions, and exile. Their personal stories become entangled with the country’s major historical events, in a seemingly endless cycle of violence and loss.

The Sea's Age

Portrays the marine element as a catalyst between myth and historical experience via the evocation of the major events that shaped modern Greece in the course of its past decades.

The Protectors

Up against his money-grabbing relatives, his compromised superiors, and the state, a firm painter decides to protest by bricking up the windows of his house. Everyone wants to get their hands on his legacy. Will the protectors succeed?

The years of the storm are Greek historical - dramatic - adventurous film of 1984, directed and directed by Giorgos Tzimas . Starring Michalis Stamatakis Katerina Koutroupida and Menelaos Daflos. Two fighters, cut up in the mountains, after the defeat of the Democratic Army in 1949, are trying to return to their homes.

Dimitris Thalassias is a single singing teacher at a senior high school in Athens and undertakes the care of a child abandoned by its mother at the door of the foundling hospital. He does everything required to raise it right, but he sees his life changing unexpectedly, since his fiancée leaves him, and his relations with his students go from bad to worse. While this is happening, the mother shows up to claim her child. In the end, everything is corrected, and a solution is provided through marriage.
