The TV-personality Van Muiswinkel regularly visits his intellectual friend and gradually takes on increasingly insane guises.

Diederik van Vleuten asked his friend Erik van Muiswinkel to come along. The result was their theatre third program in which two men, one with a house and one with a bunk bed, clash. What are two Dutch friends in their forties discussing in a house on a Dutch Frisian Island?

Registration of the first theatre program by the Dutch comedy duo (Erik) van Muiswinkel and (Diederik) van Vleuten. Two men visit the Montignac caves, famous for their prehistoric rock paintings. Diederik van Vleuten thinks he has ended up in the Womb of Western Culture, Erik van Muiswinkel thinks his five-year-old son paints better. They don't agree.

Registration of the second theatre program by the Dutch comedy duo (Erik) van Muiswinkel and (Diederik) van Vleuten. In their first program, the two comedians limited themselves to the earth and the strange peoples who inhabit it. In their second program they expand their explorations into the world of the unseen, where they test their strength with astrologers, illusionists, millennium preachers and similar figures. What mechanisms drive people to believe in supernatural madness, and to derive pleasure and comfort from it? Have we made any progress in the twentieth century? If Darwin, Freud and Einstein opened humanity's eyes, then a hundred years later there will be enough volunteers to close them again. Van Muiswinkel and Van Vleuten argue about it for a long time during this performance.

Dit was het nieuws is a Dutch television program of RTL4, wherein two teams give a satirical account of the previous week's news. The program has the form of a game show in which two teams, each with a team leader and weekly guest, compete against each other. The scoring is not serious; after the first round, for instance, the score is always 4-4.
