Pura, Ricky's mother , just left jail. A simple fact that changes the whole existence of Ricky. Johnny Durán, who is seventeen years old and son of a multimillionaire, arrives to Madrid for hollidays. In the capital he become friend of a group of boys and girls with whom he shares great moments; but soon he realice that they are a clan of thugs and decides to distance themselves. He also meets Paula, daugther of an italian family that is travelling, and they both feel atracted by each other. Since then, started happening a serie of unexpected events which the guy will have to solve with tenacity and responsibility.

Carmen Torres, a famous and renowned singer, lives the fame aware of what it implies, but Jorge Olmedo, her shadow partner, succumbs to a world in which drugs and poker games reign. Husband and wife travel to Seville to see the premiere of "Yo soy ésa", a film in which both see their lives captured long ago, a dose of reality that will help them realize that they no longer love each other the same.

4th February 1975. It's the first day of the historic actors strike that would bring the country's theatre activity to a halt for nine days. They demand one day off a week. What started out as a demand develops into political challenge. Concha Velasco, Ana Belén, Tina Sainz, Juan Diego and José Sacristán are some of the artists who risked their careers and their freedom. This is the story, narrated by its protagonists, as it has never been told before.

At the end of the 50s, after assassinating the legendary capo Goncalves and dividing their domains, Ventura and Otálora, rival and old friends, fight with their bands for the control of prostitution and contraband. Anabel, Ventura's favorite prostitute and her young lover, will live their passion among the violence that surrounds the port city.

Fifteen years after the plot a lawyer and a military ex-attorney meet and recall the intense days of 1975 when both participated in the decission of war or peace. The film is told in flashbacks of the two protagonists.
