This is Sofia's first Winter Holiday in the castle with her new family, but when King Roland goes missing in a raging snowstorm, Sofia leads her mother, Amber and James on a brave expedition aboard a flying sleigh to find him. As the blizzard whirls around them, their hopes are nearly dashed, until Princess Aurora appears and reminds Sofia that her animal friends might hold the key to finding her dad and reuniting her family.

Cedric is preparing to show off his magical skills at the Enchanted Feast: a grand dinner for all of the kings and queens in the Tri-Kingdom Area. When the evil fairy Miss Nettle disguises herself as a powerful sorceress known as Sascha and takes over the feast after tricking Roland into welcoming her in by showering the royal family with gifts, Sofia forms an unlikely team with Clover, Cedric and Wormwood to protect her amulet and save her family. Sofia learns, after summoning the Snow White, to trust her instincts.

When Sofia makes the mistake of trusting Amber with the secret of her amulet, Amber jealously steals the amulet, causing the jewel to curse her by summoning the evil Princess Ivy. Now Sofia and Amber have to stop Ivy from not only destroying the amulet but taking over the kingdom.

In this installment, after receiving a book of secrets from her Aunt Tilly, Sofia finds her destiny is to become the new Story Keeper of the castle's secret library. When Amber discovers that her sister Sofia has a secret job as a Storykeeper, she demands to join her on her latest assignment: traveling to the Mystic Isles and stop the rogue Crystalmaster Prisma from covering the isle with crystals and stealing their magic.

As Sofia, and her siblings Amber and James, prepare for their graduation from Royal Prep Academy, Sofia is called back to the Mystic Isles to face an evil witch named Vor, who is trying to take over the kingdom of Enchancia.
